What is Retrofit Scotland?
Retrofit Scotland was originally founded in 2013 by the 2020 Built Environment Group and was committed to the successful development of Scotland's National Retrofit Programme.
10 years on, the urgency of the need to retrofit has accelerated. Re-launched in 2024, Retrofit Scotland aims to provide a platform for action by connecting academia, industry, citizens, local and national government, with the goal of scaling retrofit delivery so that citizens across Scotland can access the benefits it brings.
Who is leading the project?
Retrofit Scotland is a collaborative platform being led by BE-ST in partnership with key stakeholders. It will be developed using co-design principles to ensure the activities are design with, and for, the community of retrofit enthusiasts across Scotland.
A core aspect of this development process will be via monthly workshops to share updates and seek feedback on key points of focus. It will be an open meeting for those who work across education, business, government and community projects. Please join us
