Applications wanted for built environment Master’s scholarship programme
Applications are now being accepted for BE-ST's Accelerate to Zero Postgraduate Scholarship Fund.
Tomorrow's built environment needs new expertise and skills across the sector. To meet this need, Built Environment – Smarter Transformation (BE-ST) is funding postgraduate students who can help solve climate change, create smarter, healthier places and develop a workforce and culture that supports this new future. The Master’s scholarship programme has been supporting students since 2017.
The A-Z Postgraduate Scholarship supports Master’s projects that will make an impact on industry through new or developed processes, products or ideas aimed at solving industry challenges.
Students taking part will benefit from real-life work experience by engaging with an industry partner as part of their studies as well as mentorship and support from experts across BE-ST, industry and BE-ST's online Master’s resources. They will also get the chance to make a difference to industry and be a part of transformational change.
There are up to 30 places with £6,530 funding available for each eligible Full Time Equivalent Master’s student currently enrolled or applying for a Master’s within our partner universities, including Edinburgh Napier University, Glasgow Caledonian University, University of Dundee, Glasgow School of Art, University of West Scotland, and more. Part-time students can also apply.
BE-ST is looking for applications from students from any discipline as long as they have an innovative idea or solution that can be applied directly to the built environment and a desire to work with an industry partner throughout their Master’s.
Only Scottish students are eligible. Deadline for applications is 30th November 2024.
