Andy Outram

Andy has been involved in the Scottish construction industry for 35 years and helped to define the Scottish built environment as project management director in high profile schemes including the 2014 Commonwealth Games Athletes’ Village in Glasgow, the SSE Hydro, and The Event Complex Aberdeen.

For the last 10 years he has been with Turner & Townsend where he is the Strategic Lead for the global professional service company’s Glasgow office. He also leads the Project Management team in Glasgow and is the Lead Director for Real Estate in Scotland. Andy has been a Divisional Director of the firm’s UK Project Management Board since 2015.

Prior to this Andy worked as a Building Surveyor before Andy helped to establish the Project Management team at Mackenzie Partnership in the early 1990s, when he also furthered this education by undertaking an MSc in Construction Management through distance learning at Heriot Watt University.
