Karyn Watt

Karyn has over 30 years’ construction industry experience and is a Law Society of Scotland Accredited Specialist in Construction Law.  She is also a member of the Construction Scotland Industry Leadership Group, which plays a vital role in shaping the country’s economic ambitions. Karyn is also called to the New York Bar and is a qualified mediator. Karyn was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Incorporation of Architects Scotland in 2013.

Karyn is a Board member of Capital Theatres, Vice Chair of Women In Property Scottish Branch, Vice Chair of Scottish Building Contracts Committee, and Chair of its drafting Committee, Trustee of WASPS and Chair of the Wilhelmina Barns-Graham Trust. In her spare time Karyn is a script writer, having written, produced and appeared in a Bollywood movie that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, and a stage play for the Festival of History. She also has an Indian jewellery business.
