Accelerating a Just Transition in the Scottish Built Environment & Construction Industry – Lunch N Learn

Accelerating a Just Transition in the Scottish Built Environment & Construction Industry – Lunch N Learn

What is this session about?

The construction industry in Scotland is currently navigating a complex landscape filled with challenges such as productivity inefficiencies, budget overruns, and delayed project deliveries. The recent pandemic has further strained the financial stability of many supply chain companies. Additionally, the industry is tasked with achieving a just transition to a low-carbon, greener economy, embracing circular economy principles and digital innovations to meet the net-zero target by 2045.

The Industry Transition Accelerator (ITA) Programme, developed by Regenerative Futures, provides a structured pathway for organisations to transition from Fragile to Resilient to Future Ready. This programme offers opportunities for cross industry collaboration, co-creating solutions and new value creation and is supported by key partners including the Supply Chain Sustainability School, BE-ST, Zero Waste Scotland, CITB, and Balfour Beatty.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Access ITA Programme: Gain access to the ITA programme and learn about its methodology.
  • Personalised Assessment: Learn how to get involved and receive a personalised resilience and readiness assessment for your organisation.
  • Future-Ready Pathways: Explore the steps and pathways to becoming Future Ready and supporting the Construction Leadership Forum Action Plan.
  • Funding Opportunities: Discover funding opportunities available through the Industry Transition Accelerator.
